It has been the long-standing belief at Quiescence that effective education is critical to safe diving.  SCUBA Courses are offered YEAR ROUND and we encourage anyone who would like to advance their diving skills to enroll in and continue their diving education.

DISCOVER / TRY SCUBA DIVING / RESORT COURSE

Have you been thinking about trying SCUBA Diving?  An easy and safe way for YOU to experience your first breath SCUBA Diving!  This course allows Non-Divers to safely experience diving under the direction and accompaniment of an Instructor for a day.  Includes Pool Session, 1 Boat Trip, 2 Dives on the Reef, Instruction Fees, & all Equipment use.

REFRESHER COURSE

Customized for the dusty diver!  If you have not actively participated in SCUBA Diving for an extended period of time, we can customize a Refresher Course for you.  You may simply require a Guided Dive with an Instructor, or perhaps Classroom and Pool Sessions in addition to the Guided Dives - we fit it to your needs.

OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION COURSE

Begin the Adventure of a Lifetime!  Become an Open Water Certified Diver at your own pace.  Or, take the 5 day Course. Either way, included are all Educational Materials, Academics, Equipment use, Pool Sessions, Boat Trips, Open Water Dives, Instruction Fees, and Certification.

Want to conduct your Open Water Training Dives in a warm, tropical environment for Open Water Certification?
If you are an Open Water Student who has completed the Academics and Confined Water portions of your course, give us a call in advance at PH (305) 451-2440 to schedule the dives over 2 days.  Bring your valid Referral material from your Originating Instructor (and medical release, as necessary).  Includes 2 Boat Trips, 4-5 Dives on the Reef (depending on which agency), & Instruction Fees.  Discounted Rental Equipment Packages available.

ADVANCED CERTIFICATION COURSE

Continue your Education!  Is there something out there you have wanted to dive but have not yet qualified?  This Course will help you get there!  Our Courses include all Educational Materials, Academics, Equipment use, Boat Trips, 5-6 Dives, Instruction Fees, and Certification.
Course Fee    $380 (1 class, 5 dives, 3 days)    Or    $480 (3 classes, 6 dives, 3 days) 

CPR / FIRST AID (PRIMARY & SECONDARY CARE)  NOT JUST FOR DIVERS!

If you have loved ones, children, friends, coworkers, etc., this course IS for you!  These Courses teach you how to provide emergency care for someone in need and the learning is easy in a non-stressful environment in which you will practice and apply emergency care procedures.  The 1 day Class (4-6 hours) includes Educational Materials, Academics, Equipment use, Instruction Fee, and Certification.

RESCUE DIVER or DIVER STRESS & RESCUE DIVER COURSE

Interested in becoming a dive leader?  This Course is an important and crucial step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level.  Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers.  A prerequisite for all leadership training, Rescue Diver training readies you to to help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques.  The course is designed to be demanding, though realistic in its conduct, content, and approach.  Although the nature and context in which rescue training may be used is serious, the course is enjoyable and builds diver confidence.  The 2 day Course includes Educational Materials, Academics, Boat Trips, Dives, Instruction Fees, and Certification.  CPR/ First Aid prerequisite

ENRICHED AIR/ NITROX DIVER COURSE

The primary purpose of Enriched Air is to extend your no decompression limits beyond those of normal air.  The 1 day Course includes Educational Materials, Academics, and 2 Nitrox tanks, and Certification.  Boat Trip and Dives are optional, but not required.

PSI TANK INSPECTION TRAINING COURSE

This is a terrific Course for Every Diver, not just professionals!  Our Professionally Certified Tank Inspection Instructors can certify you in Proper Methods for Inspecting High-Pressure Cylinders, Cylinder-handling, and Safe Fill Station Operations.

Want to work in the Diving Industry?  This Course expands the problem solving skills developed by the Rescue Diver program, and extends it from accident management and prevention scenarios to supervisory situations with student divers and certified divers.
